Elbow orthoses

Elbow orthoses are custom-made or off-the-shelf orthopedic devices intended to support or immobilize a weakened elbow.

Different types of support orthosis can be fitted to the user depending on the degree of immobilization required by their pathology:

• Elbow braces and compression sleeves (to treat epicondylitis) are indicated for tendinitis, sprains or dislocation or for users wishing to start playing a sport again,
• Rigid elbow orthoses totally immobilize the elbow joint.
• Articulated elbow orthoses with or without amplitude control are indicated for cases of sprained elbow, torn ligaments or post-operative immobilization
