Questions and answers

After breast surgery, wearing an external breast prosthesis, either as a permanent solution or while waiting for reconstruction, restores a natural figure. It is also extremely useful to avoid: bad posture of the shoulder, lumbar or cervical pain, muscular pain, headaches.

Initially, a very light temporary prosthesis can be worn while waiting for healing and in case of radiotherapy. This prosthesis must be replaced by a permanent prosthesis as soon as possible.

You can choose your prosthesis, with or without adhesion, according to your desires, your needs (size of your breasts, type of skin, etc.) and your lifestyle. These prostheses are comfortable, allow great freedom of movement and a natural feeling.

It is recommended that you make an appointment with your consultant to be guided in your choice of breast prosthesis. Choosing a suitable prosthesis takes time, about an hour. It is advisable to have a check-up every year.

It is important to take care of your prosthesis as you would your own body. It is sufficient to clean the prosthesis with soap and water, rinse it and let it dry. The prosthesis should be placed in its original case, to keep its shape and be protected.
